The M&A People Operations Partner will work as a client partner with the Corporate Development Integration Team (Mergers & Acquisitions), Employment Law Team, and cross-functional HR teams to support a wide variety of operational projects, processes, systems, and cases across all of Facebook. The ideal candidate is highly motivated with a positive attitude, and exhibits patience, teamwork, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with M&A/Integration team, HRBPs, People Operations, Contingent Workforce, Recruiting, Global Mobility, Immigration, Legal, IT, Facilities and other teams to support operations and the M&A experience globally

  • Preform HR Diligence, serve as the main HR contact for target, track actions with cross-functional teams through status updates

  • Prepare custom offer letters, manage immigration and relocation initiation, manage onboarding logistics

  • Manage communications (internal & external) throughout deal life cycle

  • Drive efficiency, elevate the M&A experience and ensure our M&A team is satisfied with support

  • Deliver an exceptional transition experience for employees of all levels coming from acquired companies

  • Responsible for improving the People Operations playbook and process plans for Due Diligence and Integration

  • Manage ongoing processes to ensure data and process dependencies with downstream systems and reporting are managed effectively

  • Reporting and analytics based on organization needs and driving insights for Corporate Development & HR Leadership using existing dashboards, HRIS data, and leveraging our people data team

  • Maintain a global mindset

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years People Operations/Human Resources experience

  • 4+ years of experience in leading projects and developing standardized processes

  • Demonstrated experience working with confidential information

  • Demonstrated experience in strategic thought leadership, stakeholder management, and collaborating across the organization and influencing partners at all levels to achieve results

  • Experience handling sensitive employee experiences with discretion and confidentiality

  • Communication experience and experience handling sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy

  • Experience understanding and reacting to changing priorities even when not all the information is available

  • Consultative, process and project management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience at a fast-paced, high growth Tech company

  • Experience with Salesforce and Workday (or alternate HRIS system)

  • Strong Excel including creating pivot reports, vlookups, and charts/graphs

  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities

  • Capable of exercising independent judgment and discretion while utilizing company policies and practices to determine appropriate action

  • Capable of dealing with ambiguity at all times

  • Work independently and requires little instruction on the day-to-day work

  • Exceptional customer service and proven ability to perform in fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy and work on multiple work streams at one time
