The Benefit Operations Team is an integral part of People Operations. This role will report to the Benefit Operations Manager and support the Benefits COE from design, execution and maintenance of health programs offered in the U.S. The role will lead projects, process improvement and delivery of plans to ensure a high touch employee experience. This individual should be highly motivated, solution driven, exceptionally organized and have strong attention to detail with equal consideration of “big picture,” with maturity and tact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide operational support in the day-to-day administration and delivery of the Company’s US health programs

  • Partners with health strategy partners and provides operational insight in the design of new and existing programs

  • Remains current on all government regulations involving payroll and benefits, including, HIPAA, ACA and other statutory regulations

  • Leads the review and update of SPDs, benefit booklets, open enrollment materials, etc.

  • Partners in regular meetings with internal business partners (e.g., Finance, Payroll, and HR) and external partners (e.g., consultants, vendors) to improve the administration of Facebook’s programs and employee experience

  • Keeps current on internal and external trends, business challenges, and priorities and surfaces them to health partners

  • Conduct audits of data to ensure processes and policies are being managed effectively, and data quality is maintained/improved

  • Assists with other projects as needed and proactively identify, communicate, and seek resolution for business issues

  • Manage content updates of assigned programs on People portal and other internal sites

  • Onboards/maintains vendor suppliers and creates/monitors purchase orders

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 10+ years of experience in benefits in a multi-state environment

  • Experience with COE Operating Model

  • Experience with HDHPs and HSAs

  • Excel and PowerPoint experience

  • Experience with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA and ACA

  • Experience with outsourced Benefits Administration (10,000+ Lives)

  • Vendor Management experience

  • Process focused and knowledge of end-to-end operations

  • Experienced evaluating, handling and running Requests for Proposal (RFP)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in the tech industry
