As a Professional Services Advisor for Visier, you will conduct discovery scoping meetings with prospects to define and propose tailored service packages for our customers to purchase, allowing them to most successfully implement and adopt Visier products.

The Professional Services Advisor is responsible for preparing service solution definitions for customers and prospects. You will be able to operate independently, while also interacting closely with sales teams and our professional services practice. You must have advanced technical knowledge of the Business Intelligence industry, coupled with sales teaming ability and business development skills. You will also demonstrate a deep understanding of technical solutions and professional services packages. The Professional Services Advisor role is quota bearing, while also being measured on customer satisfaction and delivery of on time execution.

What you'll be doing...

  • Conducting discovery to ensure customers’ goals, capabilities and resources are understood prior to sale; determine technical and business requirements to produce a professional services and technical onboarding proposal
  • Working with internal sales and professional services practices to identify the service packages needed to achieve customer goals and timeframes; create value management and solution package documentation including effort analysis, onboarding roadmap, and use case value streams
  • Delivering the service proposals collaboratively to balance the customer’s budget, resource levels and desired timeframes
  • Managing a forecast and pipeline of business and accurately predicting bookings
  • Working collaboratively with partners to ensure that collaborative projects are undertaken in a manner that ensure clarity and success for the customer
  • Building productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities
  • Providing accurate and timely management information, to include: activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts and KPI’s
  • What you'll bring to the table...

  • 5+ years’ experience in analytics sales and services, preferably in a technical role
  • 5+ years’ experience in service sales and solution design
  • A strong propensity to challenge and educate customers during the sales cycle to adopt best practices
  • Strong ability to manage time as there will be a need to focus on opportunities with a strong propensity to close
  • Proven ability to collaborate and partner with customer success to define and execute customer projects
  • Experience in Business Intelligence or with data modelling is desired
  • Experience with human resource systems is desired
  • This role requires extensive travel
