Position Overview
 
As Director of Strategic Partnerships, you’ll expand our opportunities and deepen our market leverage by developing industry partnerships within the recruiting and talent analytics space. Your energy and focus will go towards generating revenue by inclusion of Emsi’s comprehensive workforce data in 3rd party applications and systems. 
 
 
Requirements
 
Bring 7+ years of increasing sales alliances experience and expertise within the HR tech business arena and an entrepreneur’s mindset. It’s crucial that you have a deep connection to Emsi’s fundamental value proposition and can build excitement and ownership for it in with stakeholders in our strategic partners.

You’ll be skilled and effective at:

    • Articulating joint customer value and partner value to our partners
    • Understanding how large HR tech partners work and how to motivate and work across their complex organizations
    • Crafting and bringing to fruition the win/wins that make partnerships truly productive
    • Identifying, developing and communicating market opportunities that move us to the top of our partners’ agendas
    • Coaching our partners on the value proposition of Emsi data within their application
    • Positioning the product for executives in our partner community to build strong consensus within these organizations
    • Understanding the needs and agenda of leaders of talent strategy and recruiting in large enterprises and jointly meet them through partnerships
    • Understanding the nuances of our partnership strategy to ensure partnerships work in harmony with our direct sales strategy, do not create channel conflict, and do not conflict with existing channel exclusivity partnerships 

The ideal candidate has:

    • Strong knowledge of talent analytics and the type of data enterprise clients evaluate in setting talent strategy and workforce plans
    • Strong knowledge of the internal workings of enterprise recruiting, talent analytics, and people analytics teams
    • Strong knowledge and experience working with executive and C-Level roles in the HR/talent/recruiting space
    • Strong knowledge and experience with internal HR systems including ATS systems, job distribution systems, and HRIS systems
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present Emsi research and applications at industry trade conferences
    • Understanding of common software project management practices

The strongest candidates will also have product management experience including:

    • Experience developing channel partnerships
    • Strong knowledge and experience with Emsi data and applications
