The EMEA COO Sourcing team is focused on identifying and engaging the best diverse talent for our Marketing Solutions organisation and all Business functions in the Region. Our COO org includes Global Marketing Solutions (GMS) and all Business functions including Global Operations & Partnerships, G&A (Communications, Public Policy & Privacy, HR, Legal, Finance, Facilities, Physical Security, Recruiting). These functions are growing in EMEA in support of our mission to “give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together”.
This new role will into the team will lead a team of sourcers that will be supporting the recruiting efforts of our G&A, Global Operations and Sales hiring. As a Lead you will drive results through driving sourcing strategies to meet the hiring needs of these businesses. This position will be best suited to an inclusive, flexible and collaborative leader with a strong background in sourcing or recruiting. Key partners for the Sourcing Lead will include other recruiting leads or peers across the sourcing and recruiting teams, business stakeholders and other key XFN groups such as our diversity partners, recruiting insights, Candidate Experience and POP teams.
SOURCING LEAD COO, EMEA RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the sourcing team in finding the best talent for the pipelines in which they are supporting
Establish strong relationships with all key partners to understand and develop the best top of funnel strategies to deliver on hiring goals, both in the short and long-term
Provide advice and recommendations to team and recruiting colleagues/peers based on regional and functional knowledge
Lead planning, strategy and delivery of sourcing goals for G&A, Global Operations and Sales
Deliver the Facebook signature candidate experience
Show care and respect aligning to the 7 manager behaviours and ensuring a diverse and inclusive team environment where people bring their whole self to work, perform at their best and have fun together
Establish ways of working with key partners, client groups and stakeholders that support operational effectiveness
Support the Sourcing team and nurture a growth environment through providing ongoing feedback and coaching support to the team
Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team
Ensure collaboration and sharing of best practices across sourcing team to support team impact and learning
10+ yrs Recruiting/Sourcing experience including prior direct people management experience
Experience of taking things from strategy and ideation through to operational execution while operating at scale
Experience delivering sourcing solutions and/or hiring demands across an international landscape
Demonstrated track record of building strong working relationships with leaders across functions and regions
Ability to translate data and analysis into strategic recruitment recommendations and follow through with metric-driven execution and to lead others to do the same
Experience of supporting with, and developing, ways of working supported by the right systems and tools
A strong passion and belief in the value of Sourcing
Solid understanding of, or the ability to, quickly ramp on HR related regulations and compliance procedures across EMEA
