Facebook is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with strong analytical and operational experience to work with systems related business needs that support the Compensation Programs and Operations Team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll support the Compensation Operations and Related Teams with system reporting, audits and data warehouse reporting as well as Share Point migration and metrics reporting.

COMPENSATION BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and help inform, influence, support, and execute business decisions

  • Participate in the research for, and ongoing development and administration of a compensation program that meet Facebook's needs

  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics and monitor the integrity and validity of the data reported

  • Obtain a thorough understanding of our data sources and collection methods

  • Develop compensation models and conduct statistical analysis

  • Analyze trends in compensation and build intelligence through reporting

  • Work with large amounts of data and build tools to streamline the process

  • Apply systems knowledge to evolve and develop compensation programs that support long-term business decisions and priorities

  • Support a positive working relationship with cross functional teams (Compensation Business Partners, Engineering team, HRIS etc.) and regions to identify opportunities and support the business needs

  • Support initiatives with engineering teams throughout the product development life cycle and provide consultation and subject matter expertise on compensation data

  • Support compensation program implementation, change management and measurement of program success

  • Support results by providing data to support key operational metrics, identifying process improvement opportunities and delivering on strategic initiatives

  • Manage the intake of all ad hoc reporting requests

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline

  • 3+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, finance, compensation or a similarly applicable field

  • Experience in Excel, including experience building analyses and models

  • Proficiency in VBA, especially as it relates to Excel and its object model, or programming/scripting experience

  • Project management experience

  • Knowledge in relational databases and SQL
