Description The People Operations team strives to create and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. Leading with care and empathy, we develop efficient and simple people processes, systems, policies, and programs. We deliver data that is useful and accurate to create People-related strategies across the business. We manage people knowledge and build project management capability across our People function. Our work also ensures Facebook remains protected and compliant. We strive to ensure employees feel heard and given the resources and support they need during the most important moments of their careers.
We are looking for a People Services specialist who can help deliver excellent people services to our growing workforce. We are looking for someone who delivers best in class employee experience, enjoys solving problems, building and figuring out the best way to do things and is passionate about supporting employee's and connecting them with the resources and information that they need.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide first level HR support to employees in person and through our ticketing system

  • Actively manage the resolution of tickets ensuring queries are escalated to the appropriate specialist where necessary

  • Develop a strong knowledge of all Facebook HR processes and policies including leaves, payroll, benefits, time-off, relocation

  • Be present and provide a great experience in our Life@ Facebook Centre daily to engage with employees providing information or resolving queries

  • Support the delivery of People Services processes for our partners and the EMEA employee population (including Right to Work checks, Information audits)

  • Build a knowledge of internal tools to support employees including wiki, HR portal

  • Support the wider people operations team with bringing vendors onsite and helping them to engage with employees

  • Support other processes, projects and team members within Peeps as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-3 years of experience working with employees and HR processes / customer or employee focussed service

  • Excellent customer experience skills

  • Attention to detail, and ability to multi-task

  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and uncertainty in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment

  • Self-directed and possess excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work across various levels of the organization, while building trust and fostering collaboration
