This role is responsible for the vision, planning, development, and operation of our company-wide virtual learning solutions. The successful candidate will work to drive optimum learning efficiency, experience and scale by working closely with our Learning, Operations, and People Engineering teams. You will ultimately guide the virtual learning product roadmap through definition of features, enhancements, fixes and other functionality by understanding our internal stakeholders' needs and defining the future strategy to exceed them.

Virtual Learning Program Manager Responsibilities

  • Oversee program management for virtual learning efforts across the enterprise

  • Partner with people/learning leadership on developing program objectives, strategy, resourcing, and workplans

  • Provide ongoing program updates and reporting to stakeholders

  • Prioritize program requirements and investments

  • Define, analyze, and report out on program success metrics

  • Research and make recommendations on build vs. buy vs. extend options

  • Partner with product and engineering teams on design, development, and delivery of virtual learning solutions

  • Coordinate with learning curriculum and content owners to ensure their expertise is built-in to virtual learning solutions

  • Lead enterprise-wide go-to-market and activation efforts for virtual learning solutions

  • Manage operations and governance of virtual learning solutions

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in learning technology, including expertise in common platforms (Remote learning, LMSs, LXPs, etc.)

  • Experience in developing a learning technology strategy and leading execution against it

  • Systems and problem-solving experience, with experience thinking through workflows end-to-end to develop improved solutions

  • Experience working with both engineering and end-user groups to identify, prioritize, and scope tool/system requirements

  • Communication experience

  • Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups to implement tool/system changes

  • Project management skills - PMP certification

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity

  • Experience working independently with minimum supervision and lead multiple projects simultaneously involving various groups/locations/vendors

  • Organization skills, attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Process improvement background — Six Sigma certification

  • Proficiency with data and analytics, including identifying a program’s priority data needs, partnering with data owners to gain access to it, analyzing acquired data for insights, and reporting out on insights to stakeholders

  • 5+ years experience working in a virtual/remote/distance learning role

  • 3+ years experience working in a learning function
