Facebook’s Recruiting POP (Recruiting Operations and Programs) team partners with Recruiting leaders globally to design inclusive top-of-funnel talent attraction strategies and programs, develop trainings to enhance their teams’ skills, create best-in-class interview experiences, and build tools and processes that streamline and innovate our work. Your work on our POP team will play a crucial role in helping our Recruiting teams hire the world’s best builders. As a Recruiting Event Marketer on Facebook’s EMEA Attract team, you will be part of a small team that delivers a clear and consistent employer brand through events. This position is based out of London office.
RECRUITING EVENT MARKETER RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and implement and the event strategy, logistics + execution for recruiting events in the Europe/Middle East/Africa region. Tactical execution includes contracts, swag, hotel blocks, venue selection, invitation process.
Leading business stakeholder relationships with key partners, suppliers, agencies and industry organizations, that ensure the success of recruiting events
Own the recruiting events budget and calendar, team communications and briefings, plus the post-event reporting and analysis
Partner closely with Facebook teams around the world to manage consistent event and branding processes
Ability to take direction and input to develop effective event strategies that are engaging, innovative and will achieve the organizational + brand goals
Day-to-day management of projects from creative conception through to activation using innovative attraction strategies to maximize ROI
Work closely with business partners and your team to consistently refine processes and assess opportunities for improvement
Point of contact for general event operations and program inquiries from recruiters and hiring managers
3-5 years’ experience working in marketing/events, with end to end project management experience.
Analytical and data-driven approach to solving problems
Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and prioritise across multiple projects
Comfortable working autonomously and through ambiguity
Demonstrates industry knowledge to influence, challenge and drive change
Self-directed and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer satisfaction focus, interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with interdepartmental teams
Deliver presentations and ideas to stakeholders
Ability to travel 30-50% is required, as well as ability to work outside of standard working hours.
