The EMEA Global Product and Software (GPS) Sourcing team is focused on identifying and engaging the best diverse talent for our engineering teams in London. This newly established role will lead the Sourcing team to provide intelligence and expert advice as well as deliver the sourcing strategies to meet GPS hiring needs.
Value will be delivered through a comprehensive go to market strategy for target profiles combined with clear and consistent ways of working between Sourcing, the recruiting teams, the business and POP (Recruiting Programs & Operations team). Bringing all Sourcers together in one team across the COO org will also enable us to build and use deep expertise, apply best practices more broadly, partner with suppliers more effectively, develop our Sourcing capability and support the growth and development of careers in Sourcing.
This new position will be best suited to a bold and inclusive leader with experience in Sourcing & Recruiting at scale. The ability to build and manage a large team, collaborate in a fast-paced business across multiple teams & leaders, and deliver talent to complex engineering pipelines are critical.
Our GPS org includes GEN SWE (Product Generalist, Systems Generalist, Systems Specialist), Specialized SWE (iOS, Android, Front End, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence), Marketing (Product Marketing, Insights & Analytics, FB+, Tech & Innovation), Analytics (Data Science, Data Engineering, Growth Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Core Data Science), Design (Product Design, Content Strategy, Research), Leadership (Product & SWE), and Product Management ( PM and TPM). Key partners for the Sourcing Manager will include GPS Recruiting Leads & Managers, business stakeholders, Employer Brand & Events Team (POP), Regional counterparts, Recruiting Insights & Reporting, and Diversity & Inclusion Leaders.
Build and lead the GPS Sourcing team to find the world’s best builders and diverse talent in every industry - those who share our passion for Facebook’s future
Work with GPS Leads and Managers to develop and implement GPS Sourcing Operating Model, with both short-term and long-term focus on delivery and scaling the function
Give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together
Establish strong relationships with GPS Recruiting leads, managers, and clients to (i) understand their business and external talent hiring needs and (ii) align around shared goals and develop the best top of funnel strategies to deliver hiring goals, both in the short and long-term
Provide advice and recommendations to recruiting colleagues and clients in the business based on expert market intelligence and solid data
Lead planning, strategy and delivery of sourcing goals for GPS in EMEA with a focus on improving productivity
Determine roles, responsibilities, ways of working and hand-offs to ensure efficiency and best impact
Partner effectively with the EMEA POP team to shape and use our multiple tools, processes and programs to deliver our sourcing strategies. Ensure an integrated plan with POP to build and use our employer brand to best impact the top of funnel in key markets and hiring disciplines

Recruitment leadership experience, from strategy development and implementation through to operational execution, ideally at scale and within a rapid-growth, fast paced environment
Experience delivering sourcing solutions and/or hiring demand across an international landscape with multiple teams and pipelines
Demonstrated track record of building strong working relationships with leaders across functions and regions
Ability to translate data and analysis into strategic recruitment recommendations and follow through with metric-driven execution and to lead others to do the same
Experience defining effective processes and ways of working, supported by the right tools
A passion and belief in the value of Sourcing
Solid understanding of, or the ability to quickly ramp on HR related regulations and compliance procedures across EMEA
Proven track record in growing and managing teams, ideally in multiple international locations, and managing remote team members
Creative, bold, inclusive and empathetic leader with a passion for inspiring and developing teams
Ability to operate at scale to plan to meet business needs over the short and long-term
