Facebook’s University Recruiting Team has expanded its charter to include Early Career hiring. As such, we are building an ‘Early in Career’ recruiting team. The recruiters focused on hiring this talent will be part of building a new team from the ground up, with the benefits of both the experienced and university recruiting teams as part of their foundational development, with the objective of building relationships with college students well past their graduation date as they continue their employment journey with Facebook.

The Sourcing Lead will be responsible for leading a small team of sourcers, while defining and executing the talent acquisition strategy for a variety of leadership roles. This role will also carry some IC sourcing responsibility.

EARLY CAREER SOURCING LEAD, SWE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide innovative, scalable solutions to drive our hiring to meet FB business objectives

  • Design customized and executable recruiting plans while building excellent relationships with the recruiting team and hiring partners

  • Drive sourcing calibration and implement best practices at top of funnel for Director level hiring

  • Facilitate and lead key initiatives and projects with recruiting team and engineering partners

  • Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of the sourcing team

  • Compile & analyze data and market research to support business decisions and plans

  • Optimize teams’ productivity and continuously up-level sourcing skills on the team

  • Generate data-driven market insights and lead consultation with the business and the sourcing team to drive the impactful hiring outcomes

  • Utilize data to continuously evolve the sourcing strategy and analyze teams’ impact

  • Build innovative sourcing plan to attract the best technical leadership talent

  • Train, onboard, and share best practices with global leadership team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of sourcing or technical recruiting experience supporting technical teams

  • Experience sourcing for technical leadership roles

  • Data analysis skills and a track record of making data driven strategic decisions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of people management experience

  • Experience with both agency and in-house corporate sourcing
