The People Services Off-boarding Lead role will ensure consistent accurate data and standard processes for the Leaving Facebook exit process. This role will be primarily responsible for managing and executing confidential HR processes for exiting employees, including managing operational aspects of sensitive employee relations matters, preparing confidential separation agreements, managing settlement logistics, and fulfilling data and analytics requests for leadership.
The role will involve close partnership with the Legal, Employee Relations, People Operations, Payroll, Information Security, Global Mobility, and HRBP teams. The ideal person exhibits patience, attention to detail, teamwork, motivation, and an upbeat attitude.


  • Manage a team responsible for processing employees exits, both voluntary and involuntary, and delivering an exceptional employee experience.

  • Partner with Employee Relations, Legal, HRBPs, People Operations, Contingent Workforce, Recruiting, Global Mobility, Legal, and other teams to support exit operations for North America.

  • Monitor key performance metric scores and implement changes to continually increase performance against service level agreements (SLAs), quality, and customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor and audit case interaction quality and proactively implement measures to minimize escalations.

  • Manage inbound employee inquiries, identify needs, process necessary transactions in Workday and other systems, and escalate issues or re-assign inquiry, as required.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on HR policies and coach and mentor team.

  • Identify gaps and drive initiatives to automate and enhance our operations to be more efficient.

  • Uses data to drive decision making and measure effectiveness of off-boarding processes.


  • 5+ years of experience in HR operations or employee off-boarding operations

  • 3+ years of experience in leading projects and developing standardized processes

  • BA/BS degree

  • Experience working with confidential information

  • Experience with stakeholder management, collaboration across the organization and influencing partners at different levels

  • Experience working with company policies and practices

  • Experience working on multiple workstreams at one time

  • Consultative, process and project management experience

  • Customer service experience


  • HR shared services experience

  • Experience with Salesforce and Workday (or alternate HRIS system)

  • Excel experience including creating pivot reports, VLOOKUPs, and charts/graphs

  • Experience working in a global, large-scale, complex, fast-paced environment
