Description Facebook is seeking an HR Business Partner to support our Policy organization. The ideal candidate will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate an amazing and innovative Facebook culture as the organization grows and scales. This is a full-time role located in our Menlo Park office.


  • Responsible for building relationships with the team, and specifically managers, to implement strategies that meet the development objectives of Facebook

  • Serve as primary contact to assist employees and managers in resolving issues and grievances

  • Provide strategic business partnership and coaching to managers

  • Focus on performance management, leadership development, and conflict management

  • Facilitate assessment processes for team development

  • Partner with EMEA and APAC HR leaders as well as other cross-functional teams across L&D, Compensation, and Benefits on rollout of programs, communications and best practices

  • Develop people oriented programs to positively impact change management

  • Assess employee development needs and make recommendations for appropriate solutions

  • Design and deliver targeted solutions with a high degree of focus on scale and growth, including strategic planning, visioning, change management and team building

  • Deliver appropriate coaching and development feedback to managers and employees


  • 5+ years of HR experience.

  • 3+ years experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent.

  • 3+ years experience with coaching at the manager level, focus on performance management, employee relations and data analytics/reporting.

  • Demonstrated project management experience and experience driving programs independently.

  • Analytical and data management experience with experience translating data into action plan.

  • Interpersonal and communication experience and experience building relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • BA/BS degree with emphasis in HR or equivalent 3+ years of field related experience.


  • Experience as an HRBP in a G&A function (e.g. Legal, HR, Finance, Public Policy)

  • Demonstrates ability to influence and strategically solve problems

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment and ability to cultivate relationships across teams

  • Experience operating in a matrix and fast moving organization

  • Proven ability to understand strategic organizational issues and influence change

  • Proven ability to delivery both strategy and execution work in role
