To support our mission, we’re looking for an experienced and impact driven Diversity and Inclusion Program Manager to join our Global Diversity team. You will be part of a high performing team based out of our global headquarters in Menlo Park, CA, with specific responsibility for program management of diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs related to underrepresented groups. The ideal candidate will be both agile on the ground, able to drive strategy, and design diversity and inclusion solutions in partnership with Learning and Development and Talent Management (People Growth). A demonstrated impact in talent growth strategies and programs focused on diversity and inclusion is required, as is a passion for diversity and inclusion essential.


  • Partner with Learning & Development (L&D) and Talent Management (People Growth) practitioners, and HR Business Partners to build, support and sponsor initiatives, e.g., D&I learning, performance and career development solutions for employees and managers

  • Manage and coordinate diversity activities and internal groups focused on underrepresented communities at Facebook

  • Design and launch global programs focused on underrepresented groups, that drive our retention strategies

  • Develop metrics to track and analyze initiatives related to underrepresented groups and determine future trends

  • Identify and build relationships with external partners, including thought leaders and peer organizations, that deliver impact and support our diversity and inclusion strategies for underrepresented group


  • 3+ years professional experience in diversity & inclusion and/or program design and management (or some combo of both)

  • 1+ years building and executing programs focused on underrepresented communities

  • 1+ years experience in instructional design/learning & development (L&D) and talent management related system/programs, e.g., performance management, employee engagement and career development

  • Demonstrated project management and change management expertise

  • Experience influencing, developing, and empowering employees across multiple locations

  • Experience facilitating or communicating to audiences

  • Experience communicating with and building relationships with cross-functional partners

  • Experience with project management and project coordination

  • Experience identifying issues and executing solutions to Diversity goals

  • Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced work environment

  • Able to work across the business and establish cross-functional relationships


  • Comfortable and able to present information with short notice

  • Experience creating PowerPoint presentations
