As a Business Analyst / Salesforce Administrator within our IT department, you will be responsible for business analysis, salesforce administration and technical project management.

The Business Analyst will articulate and document client business requirements, as well as ad hoc requirements where needed. This individual must have strong people skills and an aptitude for cross-team collaboration and support as you will be interfacing with multiple divisions, technology stakeholders and teams to evaluate and bring together business needs and proposed technology solutions. This is an internal client facing position – strong verbal and written communication skills will be required, in addition to the necessary functional and technical skills.

What you'll be doing...

  • Facilitating requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders and business users to capture business rules, workflows, solution goals and project objectives
  • Formulating and defining system scope and objectives based on business needs, identifying how requests impact other systems, divisions and business processes
  • Recommending and implementing process improvements affecting multiple teams, technologies, systems, or business areas to increase efficiency
  • Recommending technology solutions and relevant technical processes to solve business challenges
  • Working with our management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
  • Providing guidance for adoption of new policies, processes and procedures
  • Documenting business requirements and rules and translating them into functional specifications
  • Managing an ongoing gap analysis and resolution of gaps with process driven solutions
  • Building key relationships with business and IT personnel across multiple divisions in order to deliver project-related requirements
  • Engaging with SMEs and third-party service providers to discuss requirements and solutions as necessary
  • Make recommendations to management regarding implementation and change management

  • Salesforce Administration responsibilities include:


  • Serving as a system administrator (training will be provided) for the Salesforce environment to handle basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
  • Coordinating the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests
  • Developing and maintaining training materials and training curriculum for all users
  • Documenting system configuration and administrative processes
  • Keeping abreast of Salesforce releases, features and best practices
  • What you'll bring to the table...

  • 3 – 5 years of business analysis experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Previous experience working in a SaaS environment is strongly preferred
  • Ability to work closely with other stakeholders to ensure client needs are exceeded
  • Independent and proactive problem-solving skills; ability to exercise sound judgment; passionate in achieving customer satisfaction with integrity, empathy, and sincerity
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
  • Ability to elicit, structure, document and validate business requirements
  • Skilled in business process redesign, with complex business models and technology
  • Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment, with the ability to set and meet deadlines while working on multiple projects at the same time
