  • *Manage end to end recruitment process for both PhD, university and intern hiring ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience

  • * Collaborate with hiring manager to understand hiring needs and goals, and to develop, implement, and execute a custom hiring strategy

  • * Innovate on ways to build a talent pipeline from top PhD programs in machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining, artificial intelligence

  • * Identify and engage unique and/or passive candidates through creative sourcing techniques

  • * Drive offer process - including extending offers, closing candidates, generating offer letters

  • * Foster relationships with key stakeholders at targeted universities

  • * Regularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders

  • * Act as an internally and externally-facing representative of Facebook and our talent acquisition team

  • * Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with management and key cross-functional stakeholders internally (e.g. Recruiting, HR, Compensation, and Diversity teams)

  • * Collaborate with others on the recruiting team on initiatives and/ or hiring needs that may spike in other areas

  • * Partner with other university recruiting team members to collaborate on campus recruiting efforts

  • * Partner closely with industry recruiters to ensure smooth candidate transition and consistent candidate experience

  • * Facilitate interview and hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers

  • * Act as a point of contact to interns throughout their internship including on-boarding, performance evaluation, and conversion process


  • *3+ years of Recruiting experience, University Recruiting experience preferred

  • * Patient, communicative, team player that is detail oriented and has outstanding interpersonal skills

  • * Ability to work cross-functionally

  • * Consultative qualities and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation as well as externally

  • * Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task

  • * Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

  • * Ability to travel during peak recruiting cycles

  • * Passionate about Facebook and able to speak to our technology/industry

  • * Experience with recruiting for technical roles preferred

  • * Experience partnering with managers, interviewers, and team members throughout the hiring process

  • * Experience with managing nuanced programs
