The Technical and Transformation Partner is part of Facebook's Global People Operations team, which strives to create and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle.   • Work across HR Operations leadership to identify areas for improvement based on impact to the organization (eg: efficiency, scalability, overall employee experience) and influence the operating model strategy supportive of the overall HR strategy

  • Prioritize opportunities for improvement through data driven needs analysis, industry benchmarking, and impact to the employee experience

  • Lead and deliver specific targeted initiatives that are identified as priorities (eg.: Complex work with HR Digital Transformation and Global HR Knowledge Management initiatives)

  • Drive the Vision, Strategy, and Solution direction for these targeted initiatives and garner leadership buy-in on solution direction, budgeting, resourcing, etc.

  • Unpack the strategic opportunity into detailed requirements and interpret those requirements into roadmap deliverables focusing on what, when and impact

  • Evaluate internal as well as third party technology solution options using standard buy/build comparative analysis with emphasis on off-the-shelf and configurable over custom and unique

  • Work with Engineering (internal and external) to deliver solutions against requirements including third party deliverables (eg.: chat, chatbots, aI driven experiences)

  • Leverage external (vendor) resource models to complement and gap-fill internal resources particularly for supplemental program services

  • Build and sustain partnerships in the solution development process from cross functional teams

  • Communicate through FB enterprise channels through close alignment and partnership with the Change Management Lead


  • 15+ years of subject matter expertise in Operations (10+ specific to HR Operations)

  • Significant experience leading initiatives from strategy through to operational execution

  • Solid understanding of leading technology platforms, work-flow tools, software packages, business applications in the HR, Financial, and Customer Relationship area

  • Experience working in a high growth company or companies with significant global scale Systems thinking

  • Experience designing and implementing complex customer experiences in tune with organizational culture and processes

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment where building support across stakeholders who own different resources needed is critical for success

  • Experience providing excellence in customer service and measurable improvement of processes

  • Experience planning and aligning with cross-functional and global partners to create a consistent high impact employee experience


  • Significant work in HR process and practice, including consulting experience

  • Significant project deliveries in a high growth tech matrixed company with significant global scale experience

  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and similar methodologies

  • Experience influencing C-level business leaders
