As a Sourcing Lead, you will have the experience to grow with the rapidly expanding Communications, Public Policy and Legal businesses. You will lead a team of sourcers while collaborating with recruiting and business leadership to deliver sourcing strategies and solutions. You will work with the Sourcing Manager to execute on plans to identify, attract and engage talent by driving the team to build proactive talent pipelines and communities, designing and building high-value tactics, strategies, and team-wide initiatives that can be exported more broadly across other COO pillars. By keeping diversity at the heart of everything we do, this role will execute on our diversity sourcing strategy and help iterate, strengthen and embed diversity of thought into our core focus on hiring the best people. The ideal candidate will be creative, data-driven and know how to build high-performing teams while creating an inclusive team culture. Being able to connect with people and understand how to motivate and recognize individuals will be key. This role will act as both a player and coach, carrying some individual contributor sourcing responsibilities. This position can be located either in Menlo Park, CA or San Francisco, CA.
SOURCING LEAD: SOURCING LEAD, BUSINESS (COMMUNICATIONS, PUBLIC POLICY AND LEGAL) RESPONSIBILITIES
Coach a team of sourcers and build a culture of teamwork, innovation, and fast feedback
Provide mentorship, recognition and career development to members of the sourcing team
Optimize teams’ productivity through thoughtful requisition allocation, and continuously up-level sourcing skills on the team
Utilize data to continuously evolve the overall sourcing strategy, inclusive of diversity hiring strategies, and analyze teams’ impact
Generate data-driven market insights, and lead consultation with the business, and the sourcing team to drive hiring outcomes
Facilitate and drive meetings with recruiting team and client groups to move forward key initiatives and projects
Work with Sourcing Manager to build an innovative sourcing plan to attract the best talent that ensures a high-tough candidate experience
Cross-functionally work with Diversity Business Partner and leaders to build a comprehensive diversity attraction strategy
Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with management and key cross-functional stakeholders internally
Share best practices with larger Facebook recruiting team
4+ years of experience in sourcing or recruiting
Experience developing and implementing sourcing strategies
Experience in people development, coaching and motivating successful individuals either through direct management or mentorship
Experience using data to influence a team or hiring decision
Experience building cross-functional relationships with cross-functional partners internally
Experience being consultative and have interpersonal skills when communicating across all levels of the organization
