As the Business Analyst for the Contingent Workforce Team you will drive the data collection, measurement, organization, and analysis to inform our contingent talent acquisition process, contingent worker experience and roadmap. This role works across the Contingent Workforce Team to inform data strategy for all team priorities as well as with cross-functional partners. The successful candidate will be highly quantitative, driven, process/detail-oriented and creative. The position will have a day-to-day focus on providing analytical, data, and operational support for Facebook’s Contingent Workforce organization and work cross-functionally with several organizations at Facebook (including Sourcing, People Analytics, and HR Technology), with the primary objective of enabling leadership to make effective, analytically driven, and strategic operating decisions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook’s mission, have a background in a quantitative or technical field, have experience problem-solving using data, and can effectively communicate strategic recommendations with leadership.

Contingent Workforce Business Analyst Responsibilities

  • Act as point person in the Contingent Workforce team for projects related to data collection and analysis

  • Lead measurement activities to pull together data informed contingent worker experience maps

  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and help inform, influence, support, and execute our planning decisions

  • Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to key business partners in collaboration with other members of the Contingent Workforce team

  • Investigate ways to measure and visualize existing processes for internal efficiency analysis and stakeholder communication

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects that require inputs from cross-functional

  • Deliver analytical, survey or research results to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Leverage tools, such as SQL, Tableau, Workday, Visier, Salesforce and Excel to drive analytics and enable client self-service on routine queries

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of consulting or corporate work experience focused on using data to uncover insights that drive action and communicating analyses to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis (e.g., descriptive statistics and knowledge of statistical significance), quantitative research, qualitative research, and experience gathering and interpreting data

  • Project management experience with multiple stakeholders prioritizing and delegating projects/tasks

  • Experience in identifying multiple sources of customer/employee data for analysis and storytelling

  • Experience working across various levels of an organization, while building trust and fostering collaboration

  • Knowledge of data visualization principles

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS or MA/MS

  • Experience in SQL, data visualization tools, and Excel (complex formulas, pivots, macros, etc.)

  • Experience in analytics, management consulting, human resources, economics, or related fields

  • Experience working with Contingent Workforce or Customer Experience data

  • Experience working with teams developing journey maps

  • Experience in HR analytics using HR systems and tools such as Workday, Visier, Salesforce etc.

  • Experience building dashboards using advanced Tableau functionality (e.g. data blending)

  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, demanding environment, under pressure

  • Expertise in process and continuous improvement
