Facebook’s Global Attract Team is seeking an Event Marketer to manage and execute diversity focused recruitment marketing efforts as part of our employment brand strategy. In this role, you will develop event marketing campaigns that position Facebook as a great place to work and authentically communicate our unique culture to attract top underrepresented talent. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong partnership across Recruiting, Brand, Diversity, Engineering, Business and external agencies to identify solutions to support recruiting and branding goals. If you have a track record of building compelling event marketing campaigns, and have creative ideas that you can resourcefully execute on them in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you. Optimism, problem solving, diversity insights and the ability to successfully navigate ambiguity is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the strategy and prioritization of recruiting pipeline specific events and experiential campaigns in partnership with the brand managers and team

  • Develop and implement event including planning, program management, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, speaker outreach and prep, logistics, curation and development content, marketing and other core elements to successfully meet event objectives by executing events and experiential campaigns

  • Own the events budget, calendar, team communications and briefings, plus the post-event reporting and analysis for specific recruiting pipelines

  • Drive cross-functional partnerships across multiple recruiting pipelines, hiring teams and diversity ecosystem stakeholders to ensure consistent successful event and branding processes

  • Manage relationships with key partners and external organizations to cultivate strong relationships with underrepresented communities and enhance Facebook’s employer brand to new audiences

  • Ability to take direction and input to consult and develop effective event strategies that are engaging, innovative and will achieve the organizational and brand goals

  • Champion diversity and inclusion internally and externally by approaching programming with diversity, equity and inclusion in mind

  • Successfully collaborate with brand managers, creative teams, fellow event marketers, engineering, business and technical partners

  • Drive a candidate centric approach and positively impact candidates brand sentiment and affinity towards Facebook

  • Traveling 25-50%

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience across events and/or marketing and event marketing

  • 2+ years of experience working on diversity & inclusion programs or events

  • Proven skills in brand and event management, project execution and strategy analysis

  • Demonstrated success with leading diversity and inclusion initiatives geared towards a wide range of underrepresented communities that resulted in positive business outcomes

  • Knowledge of producing high quality integrated event experiences ranging from small events to large scale productions

  • Self-directed and possess excellent communication skills

  • Time management and experience working across concurrent priorities

  • Creative and data-driven approach to solving problems and confident with synthesizing data and making recommendations

  • Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail and thorough follow-up

  • Consultative skills and experience in effectively influencing and collaborate with interdepartmental

  • Operational excellence with an eye for developing processes, resources that achieve team effectiveness

  • Comfortable with navigating ambiguity

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Programs, Adobe Photoshop, Keynote, Outlook, Marketing Tools, etc.
