Description The Recruiting Director will lead the central functions of Leadership Hiring & Sourcing to hire the best diverse talent for our Global Marketing Solutions organization and all Business functions in EMEA (all hiring outside of our Engineering functions). They will also lead the site-specific Recruiting agenda for Dublin with a strategic and coordinated approach to our growth. This will include aligning our overall strategy for the market, building our employer brand, establishing relations with external partners such as Diversity organizations and developing the capability in our internal Recruiting Community.
This new position will be suited for a bold and inclusive leader with experience in Recruiting delivery at scale and the ability to strategically partner in a fast-paced business. Responsible for leading the Leadership Recruiting Team & Sourcing function that support hiring for our COO orgs at all levels including Global Marketing Solutions (GMS) and Business (HR, Legal, Finance, Facilities, Physical Security, Recruiting, Communications, Public Policy & Privacy, Partnerships and Operations) across EMEA. These functions are growing in EMEA in support of our mission to “give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together”. Key partners include business leaders, Recruiting Managers, EMEA Recruiting Programs & Ops (POP), EMEA Candidate Care team, APAC & LatAm Regional counterparts, EMEA Tech Recruiting Leads, HR Business Partners, Recruiting Insights & Reporting, Diversity & Inclusion Leaders, Legal, Global Mobility (GLOMO), Compensation & Benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership Recruiting & Sourcing

    • Establish and manage strong relationships with EMEA Recruiting Managers, business leaders and HR to understand the medium to long-term hiring needs and challenges.

    • Lead the team to deliver the best sourcing strategies and executive search needs within EMEA to identify world class diverse talent and meet our hiring goals.

    • Provide a seamless client experience based on the teams use of solid data, deep knowledge of the external talent market, the provision of expert advice and proactive communication.

    • Put operational systems and efficient, inclusive ways of working in place so we’re capable of scaling to a substantially larger capacity.

    • Partner effectively with the EMEA POP team to shape and use our multiple tools, processes and programs to creatively source, brand, attract and engage a diverse pipeline of candidates in the region

    • Ensure the Leadership Recruiters to build/maintain a diverse executive network and pipeline

    • Maintain a highly candidate centric culture

    • Establish meaningful relationships key cross-functional stakeholders e.g. other Recruiting teams within EMEA & Executive Recruiting & Sourcing teams in the other Regions, HR, Compensation, and Diversity teams

    • Manage partnerships with external search firms and providers to ensure the best outcomes and return on investment

    • Manage the EMEA Leadership & Sourcing regional budgetary items, HC and OPEX

    • Establish clarity and ways of working that support consistent and aligned performance goals across teams in partnership with the other EMEA & Regional recruiting leaders

    • Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team and connect teams to localized career development opportunities

    • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (HR, Compensation, Finance, People Operations) in further strengthening systems and operational effectiveness across EMEA and elevating our People@ capability

  • Building Community

    • Establish and maintain an environment for the EMEA Leadership, Sourcing & Dublin Recruiting Community where professional growth, effective performance management, coaching and recognition thrive

    • Connect teams to ensure best practice sharing and be a single point of contact for the Recruiting agenda in Dublin e.g. site growth agenda, major initiatives, regional hiring challenges and compliance considerations, market intelligence, organizational updates and R4R activity.

    • Act as the Recruiting POC on the Dublin XFN Leadership team

    • Enable partnerships across Dublin People@ in the EMEA Region (those with shared goals like Diversity, New Markets/Entity Playbooks)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Significant recruitment leadership experience, from strategy through to operational execution, within a medium to large, rapid-growth environment.

  • Demonstrated background in recruitment strategy development supported by operational depth

  • Prior experience managing Executive Recruitment

  • A passionate belief in the social benefits of the Internet and Facebook

  • Effective at partnering with and influencing teams and clients at all levels

  • Ability to translate data and analysis into strategic recruitment recommendations and follow through with metric-driven execution and to lead others to do the same

  • Demonstrated track record of building strong working relationships with leaders across functions and ideally regions

  • Solid understanding of, or ability to, quickly ramp on HR related regulations and compliance procedures across EMEA

  • Proven track record in growing, motivating and managing a recruitment function, ideally co-located

  • Creative, bold, inclusive and empathetic leader with a passion for inspiring and developing a team of professional recruiting managers and individual contributors

  • Commercially minded
