In this role, you will see a direct link between your work and our ability to accurately keep track of headcount and team data for Biz. The Biz Mission Control team is a group of people at Facebook responsible for workforce planning and headcount/position management. We are looking for a Headcount Analyst to proactively and re-actively process headcount and position changes and partner upstream on process and tool improvement opportunities. In this role, you will be our first responder to inquiries as well as our first line of defense for data accuracy and organization.
This is a full-time position and will report to BMC Ops and Tools Program Manager (TBH).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the Biz Mission Control e-mail alias, as well as additional inquiry intake processes from internal stakeholders

  • Manage the headcount management tool queue to approve transfers, move positions, and unblock transactions

  • Assist Recruiting & HR with position management inquiries for job requisitions or offers

  • Work with Finance partners and Biz Mission Control Program Managers on tracking changes to budget in headcount management tool and change management log

  • Maintain data integrity of Biz headcount positions (cost center, manager, talent profile, location, team assignments, etc.) within Workday, Salesforce, Org Tool (FB Proprietary), and other tools

  • Support team's data analysts with dashboard and analysis accuracy

  • Meet with executives, engineering managers, product managers and non-technical clients to help work through hierarchy restructuring or reconcile headcount discrepancies

  • Answer database questions and reconcile systems of record

  • Identify ways to streamline current process and identify solutions to either speed up or automate manual process

  • Work with data infrastructure, tooling and process teams to triage data-quality issues and drive to long-term improvement of data quality

  • Exercise good judgment and, when unable to resolve issues, proactively raises risks and concerns to lead/manager

  • Facilitate training sessions for new recruiters, HR partners, Finance partners, managers, etc.

  • Works directly with partners with limited supervision

  • Will help fill the gaps across all Biz functions and sites that we support: Communication should be delivered with agreed upon actions, owners and timelines

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years problem-solving/data experience

  • Communication experience

  • Organized and experience communicating changes that would impact day-to-day program

  • Experience fielding requests from team members, manager or leaders from across Biz and adhering to response time SLA

  • Experience investigating incorrect data patterns and address root cause to fix in long-term

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. or B.A. degree

  • Knowledge of Workday and Salesforce

  • Proven skills in Microsoft Excel
