Description The Location Strategy team in Facebook’s People Analytics and Workforce Strategy (PAWS) organization partners cross-functionally to guide, inform, and execute housing, commute, and company location strategy projects. You will drive and manage projects that allow Facebook to address housing and commute needs of employees in a way that benefits the company and local communities in tandem, and to grow Facebook's global footprint in a way that best positions it to attract and retain the world’s best talent.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage multiple concurrent and often complex initiatives related to housing, transportation, location strategy investments and policy reform

  • Coordinate workstreams across the cross-functional team that spans HR, facilities, policy, marketing, legal, finance, and communications

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to share and align on the process and deliverables

  • Assist with creation of priorities, goals, strategies, resources and key initiatives

  • Streamline communication strategies and channels for the cross-functional team

  • Partner with team members to ensure project priorities are clear

  • Track and measure project metrics and ensure necessary insights are collected, shared and acted on

  • Manage and track budget and resources for the cross-functional initiative

  • Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks

  • Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment on deliverables, timelines and status

  • Reduce surprises during execution and own project management and progress reporting

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of experience in urban planning, transportation, urban economics, finance or related fields (either in-house or with consulting firms)

  • Experience managing and driving cross-functional projects from beginning to end

  • Experience building relationships cross-functionally and driving a team of viewpoints towards an outcome

  • Communication experience and knowledge in creating presentations

  • Experience working with data and analysis

  • Experience exercising judgment and discretion while working with all levels of company leadership and with cross sector external partners from government, philanthropy, community, and employers

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
