    To support this mission, we are hiring a Senior Learning and Development Onboarding and Learning Partner, to be based in Singapore. Reporting to the Director of Learning and Development, Asia Pacific, this individual contributor role will have two specific responsibilities: Onboarding, including New Hire Orientation facilitation and cultural assimilation of new joiners and designing/personally executing on strategic learning initiatives.

SENIOR LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT ONBOARDING AND LEARNING PARTNER, APAC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary facilitator for Facebook Singapore’s New Hire Orientation (NHO) experience including updating core program content, welcoming new employees, facilitating specific sessions, and answering questions

  • Partner with our Global/International Onboarding Team, L&D colleagues, and Business Partners to provide exceptional employee orientation experiences

  • Provide pre and post-NHO support to new hires through the appropriate channels

  • Work closely with the Onboarding Operations and Enterprise Engineering teams to continuously improve processes related to handling NHO logistics, badging, and IT equipment distribution

  • Consult and partner with other internal onboarding and training teams to share best practices and ensure continuity across multiple programs and teams i.e. Leadership, Manager, Individual Contributors “IC” onboarding initiatives

  • Assess, track and analyze the impact of NHO-Review insights, develop recommendations for continuous improvement of solutions. Partner with the business to conduct needs assessment and diagnose transfer of learning to provide redesign insights

  • Design/Lead/Execute/Report on all cultural assimilation initiatives in the region for both IC and Manager new hires. This will largely focus on sub-region specific, out-of-class discussion and community building activities

  • Proven experience partnering with HR Business Partners, Leaders and L&D colleagues to identify ‘root cause’ business needs that leverage L&D’s scope, priorities and resources to help individuals and teams excel

  • To be successful you will need to have experience designing and executing innovative, scalable learning solutions that enables building a continuous learning culture and that supports, “just in time, just enough and just for you” learning that is non “L&D centric or dependent” using available resources

  • Intact team development is a priority: this role will work independently (consult/design/facilitate) with high priority complex teams to make them as effective (impactful and engaged) as possible

  • Provide 1:1 coaching and advisory with business managers and leaders, especially as it relates to educating in how team and individual development can impact their business/organizational needs and the subsequent needs of their teams to learn, grow and thrive

  • Proven track record and ongoing passion in operating in the complex culturally diverse region of APAC

  • Experienced in both concept and execution of the change management required to successful chart and personally drive ongoing L&D learning transformation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • A solid and proven track record in strategic learning/organizational design and implementation

  • Proven expertise in creating and sustaining impact-focused relationships with senior leaders (including coaching, contracting, influencing and presenting)

  • A proven and exceptional track record in leading, optimizing and facilitating New Hire Onboarding and cultural assimilation of new joiners to accelerate their success / feeling of belonging
