We’re looking for an experienced talent assessment and selection professional to lead our Global Talent Selection team. The Global Talent Selection team is at the forefront of guiding and designing the talent assessment and selection practices across Facebook. In this role, you will lead a talented team of assessment and selection professionals and serve as an active partner with HR and functional leaders to design selection practices, validate assessment tools, and lead research and analyses on a broad spectrum of talent selection challenges. You’ll help develop and refine people processes to make an exceptional workplace even better.
DIRECTOR, GLOBAL TALENT SELECTION RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead a team of talent selection experts aligned to functional areas of Facebook’s business to optimize talent assessment and selection practices.
Lead the ongoing design, validation, implementation, capability building and insights regarding our external selection programs globally from c-suite to university hiring.
Manage the effectiveness of existing assessment interventions, ensuring adverse analytics are being conducted regularly, generating business insights.
Provide thought leadership on topics of talent assessment and selection including validation, training, and compliance.
Partner closely with recruiting leaders and recruiting product teams to improve and scale our end-to-end assessment and selection solutions and practices.
Influence and drive decisions with Facebook recruiting and business leaders to implement talent selection initiatives.
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with the business and HR leaders of each function in order to demonstrate influence and impact on talent selection interventions.
M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or similar field or equivalent experience.
12+ years of experience in a talent selection role at a large multinational.
Experience leading through others and managing senior level leaders.
Demonstrated team leadership, partnership, influencing and communication experience.
Experience in multiple of the following talent selection areas including: assessment validation, assessment process design, interviewing design and training, and test construction.
Knowledge of psychometric principles related to the reliability and validity of pre-employment predictors including experience in US legal requirements.
Experience implementing large scale assessment and selection interventions in multinational organization as either an internal team leader or consultant.
Demonstrated experience navigating a fast paced, dynamic working environment.
Demonstrated track record of dealing with very sensitive data, and exercising exceptional judgment and discretion.
Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or similar field.
Experience working in the technology or financial services industry.
15+ years of experience in a talent selection with recent experience leading a large team.
