Strategy Lead, Global Recruiting People Planning

We are looking for a Strategy Lead to work at the intersection of strategy, consulting, and project management. The person in this role will identify and drive recruiting initiatives and process improvements across our Global Recruiting function. This person will be part of the Global Recruiting People Planning Team. The ideal candidate has experience in strategic planning, analysis, and management consulting. This role will be a leader and self-starter who proactively identifies problems, pulls together the data and people to identify causes & develop recommendations, and then implements the solution across an organization of thousands by leaning on change management and influencing. The person in this role will partner with executive leadership and integrate the capabilities of our cross functional partners into the day-to-day operations of the recruiting organization. This role sits squarely within a fast-paced, dynamic environment that continually presents opportunities to produce solutions for a wide variety of interesting and often complex challenges.

Strategy Lead, Global Recruiting People Planning Responsibilities

  • Establish the new Strategy Lead role to maximize for impact and return on investment, applying strategic rigor and oversight as well as adopting a structured approach to prioritization

  • Drive process improvements: Work with recruiting leadership and management and cross functional partners to optimize and execute our recruiting strategies and process improvements

  • Utilize a high degree of partnering and influencing skills to enact change through functional and cross functional partners with no reporting lines

  • Develop strategic planning templates to achieve the desired business outcomes, providing a centralized view across the recruiting teams

  • Collect & analyze data, information, and research through quantitative and qualitative mechanisms to make decisions and recommendations on critical strategic issues

  • Lead and manage large-scale, organization-wide projects through planning, development, launch, stabilization and close

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and/or projects with multiple workstreams that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders

  • Manage and escalate organizational risks and issues as appropriate, and establish success metrics, and ensure performance is tracked and measured

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders inside and outside of Global Recruiting

  • Advise recruiting leaders on approaches to effectively communicate priorities to our business leaders

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree

  • 8+ years of strategic planning, operations, or management consulting experience

  • 3+ years of project management experience

  • Experience with business process management, workflow, and life cycle management

  • Experience translating business challenges and questions into solutions

  • Proven strategic, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Experience working cross functionally and holding people accountable for deliverables without a formal reporting structure

  • Experience working independently with minimum supervision and leading multiple projects simultaneously involving various groups/locations/vendors

  • Cross-functional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio or other process mapping software) to create advanced an polished analyses

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree or MBA

  • Experience in high tech environment

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity
