The Global People Operations team is seeking an experienced leader to develop and implement Facebook’s enterprise learning technology, tools, and data strategy as part of the Learning Operations and Technology team. The ideal candidate is someone who has a deep understanding around tools that support learning, has managed and built strong cross-functional relationships, has effective executive presence, and is a strong communicator. This role will start as an individual contributor and grow to lead an internal facing team that will scale and elevate the learner experience through the implementation of a strong learning technology foundation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborative Relationships:

    • Develop collaborative relationships with and influence leaders and key cross-functional partners

    • Gain alignment, prioritize, set strategy and manage the roadmap for enterprise learning products including: learning technology, learning data, and learning tools

    • Develop relationships with key partners and support teams across the company to successfully bring the strategic learning products roadmap to life through systems and tools that enhance the learning experience and enable learning to scale globally

    • Manage and escalate risks and issues and collaborate with cross-functional partners on resolutions

  • Technology:

    • Define the enterprise learning technology strategy and bring to life the long-term roadmap

    • Develop and maintain a platform that reports learner history and recommends next learning activities to learners

    • Manage, improve, and optimize the Learning Management System to ensure the system is meeting the needs for the company, research and recommend technology enhancements as needed

    • Prioritize and advocate for LMS tool enhancements in order to eliminate manual processes/work

    • Implement additional tools and technology to solve fit-for-purpose needs as we continue to build out Facebook’s learning technology ecosystem

  • Data & Measurement:

    • Advance on the success of the ‘central learning data’ initiative and ensure that this solution continues to effectively meet Facebook’s learning data needs as we scale, broaden, and introduce both build and buy technology solutions

    • Develop an enterprise-level manager dashboard for learning reporting, history and insights. Ensure it is cross-functionally recognized as the primary self-serve place to view learner history

    • Implement solutions that enable stakeholders to get better insights into the effectiveness of their learning programs

    • Develop dashboards that visualize learning data and tell the story of the ever increasing learning data that we have access to

    • Identify and implement solutions that simplify and increase response rates for learner feedback

  • Project Management & Planning:

    • Manage projects with large-scale activities that span multiple People teams and business partners

    • Coordinate with key partners (L&D, Legal, GMS-L, People Analytics, Enterprise Engineering, Vendor Management) to bring solutions and roadmap to life for our Learning teams

    • Work with program owners to measure the impact of projects and ensure scalable solutions

    • Oversee the demand planning process globally for L&D

    • Manage the learning tools, technology, data and measurement ecosystem to ensure that we craft a holistic, sustainable, scalable and complementary solution for Facebook

  • Team Management:

    • Manage a team of direct reports in the future

    • Provide coaching and development for direct reports in the future

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.A. or B.S. degree in business, HR, operations, or equivalent experience

  • 6+ years of experience in either L&D or HR Operations

  • 2+ years of people management experience

  • 2+ years’ experience in HR analytics using HR systems and tools (e.g. Workday, Visier, etc.)

  • Experience with Learning and Development metrics

  • Experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, etc.) and PowerPoint

  • Experience with project management and strategic planning

  • Experience managing a Learning Management System and developing strategic roadmap

  • Experience generating and interpreting data in order to form stories and make decisions

  • Experience managing and developing cross-functional teams

  • Experience in evaluating, developing and implementing operational improvements through automation and process redesign to enable scalability and velocity

  • Analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal experience

  • Experience breaking down processes and identifying pain points in order to deliver business improvements at local, regional and global level

  • Leadership and interpersonal experience and building relationships with cross-functional teams

  • Experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams to set objectives and produce results

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or Master's degree

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, PMP (or equivalent)

  • Experience with Cornerstone Learning Management System

  • Experience working in a growth company
