Recruiting Operations Program Manager, Knowledge Management

The Recruiting Operations team focuses on strategic initiatives to optimize the productivity of Facebook’s Global Product and Software Engineering (GPS) recruiting org. We combine deep expertise in recruiting with operational and analytical skills to design and manage scalable support processes and workflows. We work closely with our cross-functional partners, leveraging the data and insights we are uniquely positioned to gather, to enable Facebook’s businesses to thrive. The goal of this role is to drive the building and adoption of knowledge management infrastructure to increase the productivity, flexibility, and acumen of GPS. Specifically, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a knowledge management strategy for capturing, organizing and developing information, knowledge and stories from across our entire org and growing community knowledge through efficient operations and service excellence. You would also recommend infrastructure and best practices for managing the information being produced throughout GPS globally. Projects include, but are not limited to: onboarding materials, continuous learning & development, workshops and training, company-wide people initiatives, knowledge management tool content, etc. Some projects have been identified and are underway, while others will need to be discovered and ideated upon.

Recruiting Operations Program Manager, Knowledge Management Responsibilities

  • Assess, develop, and implement a global knowledge management strategy and processes across GPS Recruiting that would allow for the sharing, accessing and preservation of knowledge across the organization while meeting requirements for specific regions and verticals

  • Partner with recruiting leadership and other internal groups to lead or contribute to large-scale strategic recruiting projects as well as solve ongoing operational and support problems at scale

  • Lead and manage large-scale, organization-wide projects through planning, development, launch, stabilization and close to achieve the desired business outcomes

  • Build, maintain, and scale processes and knowledge resources that capture unmet support and/or documentation needs, translating and surfacing insights into recommendations for the recruiting team

  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams and/or projects that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders on their current operations

  • share feedback, challenges, roadblocks, and insights effectively and concisely to appropriate audiences and stakeholders

  • Identify and track success metrics and key performance indicators related to knowledge and enablement by utilizing data to identify development areas and improvements

  • Assist with escalated issues on priorities, goals, strategies, resources and key initiatives as related to GPS-wide projects

  • Be the first point of contact for recruiting leadership seeking support, advice, training, information, guidance around knowledge management, and approaches to effectively communicate priorities to the team and business leaders

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree

  • 5+ years of project or program management experience in learning and development, communications, or operations

  • Experience developing knowledge management systems and building organizational learning

  • Interpersonal and communication skills with experience updating/editing policy and reports, and creative storytelling

  • Track record of operating independently, solving problems creatively, and delivering results in an organized manner

  • Experience working collaboratively across a wide variety of functions to drive effective outcomes

  • Experience executing independently on both the strategic and operational level

  • Experience working on a new team with ambiguity and changing responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with business process management, workflow, and life-cycle management

  • Experience working with people operations or recruiting

  • Experience working with international partners across different time zones and cultures

  • Experience with HTML or web design
