Description Facebook is seeking a Global Mobility (“GloMo”) Program Manager. This is a new region-specific role focused on delivering end-to-end mobility experiences across relocation, immigration and mobility tax for our Americas-inbound new hire and intern programs. The GloMo Program Manager will be pivotal to the continued successful scaling of the mobility programs at Facebook, and the program(s) assigned to the program manager may evolve over time. They will be supported by deep technical subject matter experts, i.e., program owners, in each of the core competency areas – relocation, immigration, and tax. The person in this hands-on role will have a global mobility background and partner closely with HRBP’s, Recruiting, People Operations, Compensation, Benefits, Legal, Payroll, and others to ensure a seamless mobility experience for our people. The Global Mobility Program Manager will be responsible to scale all program delivery for their assigned program(s), including managing the day-to-day external providers, managing escalations, exceptions, vendor technology, and process and policy improvement. This is a full-time position and reporting to the Global Mobility Manager, Americas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage day-to-day interactions with mobility vendors across the region to ensure a smooth experience for our people

  • Assist with cases related to tax, immigration, and relocation related queries raised by our cross-functional teams and partner with the Global Mobility program owners (relocation, tax and immigration SMEs) to escalate and resolve

  • Develop global mobility knowledge, process optimization, and documentation for our People Services team to manage high-volume inquiry resolution, creating leverage for GloMo team

  • Review and manage all exception requests, escalating as needed to program owners

  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams and external supplier partners to develop process and system improvements

  • Oversee specific technical or compliance driven processes to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timely completion, e.g. business traveler data files, performance surveys, dashboards, etc.

  • Partner with other global mobility program managers, regional managers and global program owners (SME’s) to ensure alignment with global philosophies for relocation, tax and immigration programs

  • Consult with business leaders, managers, recruiters, HRBPs and other cross-functional teams to develop and implement mobility delivery strategy

  • Maintain knowledge base content on the Facebook People Portal

  • Influence where needed to advance self-service content and drive adoption of key tools and resources within our tiered service model

  • Project manage ad hoc projects as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree

  • 8+ years of experience in Global Mobility i.e., relocation, immigration and/or mobility tax

  • Knowledge of global mobility lifecycle processes and methodologies

  • Experience thinking through end-to-end solutions to improve the processes and plan around systematic blind spots through the mobility lifecycle

  • Experience managing full suite of global mobility vendors with a focus on performance management, accountability, escalation & exception protocol, training and relationships

  • Experience working with data, analyze and present insights, develop and deliver presentations of results

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in developing methods to automate manual processes

  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities

  • Experience working with mobility technology ecosystems

  • Experience using of MS Excel, Workday, Salesforce, or other HR-centric systems
