Facebook is seeking an experienced Program Lead to lead onboarding and employee experiences for the Messenger organization. Messenger is one of the fastest growing apps in the world—over 1.3 billion people use it every month. Messenger offers a rich and expressive way to instantly connect with the people. Messenger is an expanding team with an urgent need for a thorough onboarding process, orientation program, and ongoing employee events. This is an internal-facing position that will partner closely with Messenger’s HR, Communications, and Learning & Development teams to curate a holistic new employee onboarding and development experience. This will include communications the new hires receive, orientation process for individual contributors and managers, and check-in points from day 1 to day 180. This individual will also work with internal partners to increase the frequency and efficiency of events across Messenger’s 6 sites. This full-time position is located in Menlo Park, CA.

Program Lead, Messenger Employee Experience Responsibilities

  • Develop an orientation program across all Messenger sites that aligns with Facebook Inc’s existing onboarding process

  • Create an onboarding and development plan for employees in Messenger

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop new projects and iterate on existing ones

  • Plan and execute site-specific events that match the needs for the team

  • Travel to Messenger’s 6 sites (15% travel anticipated)

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. degree

  • Experience building relationships with cross-functional teams across all levels of the company

  • Experience with project management and strategic planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a growth company

  • Experience creating orientations for new employees

  • Experience delivering curated events to target audiences

  • 5+ years of project management experience within HR, onboarding, orientation, or events roles
