The Visier Analytics for Mid-Market team is looking for a product manager with deep product, technology and industry knowledge of the analytics business to 1) drive the strategic direction and prioritize requirements of Visier’s Mid-Market analytics solution as part of the development process, and 2) evangelize the solution with customers and other stakeholders that Visier deems critical to the success of the solution in the market.

Work across the spectrum of business and technology, collaborating with engineers, designers, product managers, business executives, and key customers to align and prioritize market needs with the technical requirements that can be developed in Visier’s platform. Help drive the implementation with the solution’s first customers in order to help them reach production. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of a small team incubating a new product and business within a successful growth company.

What you'll be doing...

  • Drive product planning, roadmap and strategy for Visier’s mid-market analytics solution
  • Identify, validate and document the market priorities that are the biggest factors in driving mid-market growth for the solution
  • Build business cases, and elaborate feature requirements in Jira to support the product roadmap and strategy
  • Work with other Product Managers and Development Leads to translate and prioritize market requirements into product requirements
  • Identify strategies, materials and technologies to remove impediments and drive change in the organization to ensure success
  • The ideal candidate is one who is aware that every problem has a solution and is able to balance market priorities with technical realities and development resources
  • Visier is seeking a creative mind who has a passion for technology, a desire to build relationships and an ability to influence stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
  • The role will also require you to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to enhance the solution to meet evolving customer and market needs
  • Participate in customer/partner events and meetings
  • Enable technical field stakeholders on product capabilities, product strategy and competitive positioning
  • What you'll bring to the table...

  • 2-5 years of Product Management experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics or related enterprise software/SaaS solutions
  • Extremely strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • A college/university degree in management information systems, computer science, or other technology related disciplines
  • Experience/education in business, marketing, or an MBA would be an advantage
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with and influence diverse teams
  • Ability to partner with other inbound functions such as user experience, development and cloud operations
  • Ability to easily transition from high-level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
  • A curiosity and passion for building a new business
  • Expert understanding of the cloud software landscape and mid-market business
