The Visier Analytics for Mid-Market team is looking for a product manager with deep product, technology and industry knowledge of the analytics business to 1) drive the strategic direction and prioritize requirements of Visier’s Mid-Market analytics solution as part of the development process, and 2) evangelize the solution with customers and other stakeholders that Visier deems critical to the success of the solution in the market.
Work across the spectrum of business and technology, collaborating with engineers, designers, product managers, business executives, and key customers to align and prioritize market needs with the technical requirements that can be developed in Visier’s platform. Help drive the implementation with the solution’s first customers in order to help them reach production. What you'll be doing... Drive product planning, roadmap and strategy for Visier’s mid-market analytics solutionIdentify, validate and document the market priorities that are the biggest factors in driving mid-market growth for the solutionBuild business cases, and elaborate feature requirements in Jira to support the product roadmap and strategyWork with other Product Managers and Development Leads to translate and prioritize market requirements into product requirementsIdentify strategies, materials and technologies to remove impediments and drive change in the organization to ensure successThe ideal candidate is one who is aware that every problem has a solution and is able to balance market priorities with technical realities and development resourcesVisier is seeking a creative mind who has a passion for technology, a desire to build relationships and an ability to influence stakeholders to achieve positive outcomesThe role will also require you to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to enhance the solution to meet evolving customer and market needsParticipate in customer/partner events and meetingsEnable technical field stakeholders on product capabilities, product strategy and competitive positioning
What you'll bring to the table... 2-5 years of Product Management experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics or related enterprise software/SaaS solutionsExtremely strong oral and written communication skills in EnglishA college/university degree in management information systems, computer science, or other technology related disciplinesExperience/education in business, marketing, or an MBA would be an advantageAbility to effectively collaborate with and influence diverse teamsAbility to partner with other inbound functions such as user experience, development and cloud operationsAbility to easily transition from high-level strategic thinking to creative and detailed executionA curiosity and passion for building a new businessExpert understanding of the cloud software landscape and mid-market business
