Facebook is looking to hire a Director of D&I and Talent Management to join the Workforce D&I team. Reporting directly to the VP, Workforce D&I, this position is responsible for partnering across our HR teams and integrating diversity and inclusion practices into our company-wide people programs. The ideal candidate will be able to move fast, navigate ambiguity, build strong relationships across multiple teams and execute effectively. This person will partner closely with our People Growth team (people programs, talent management, HR communications), Diversity Business Partners and Human Resource Business Partners to drive ideation, consultation and delivery of solutions.
To help drive success, we are looking to hire a Director who will provide thought leadership, strong collaboration and consulting in the areas of diversity and inclusion, talent management and change management.
DIRECTOR, D&I AND TALENT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Consults across the People Team to integrate inclusion into our existing talent management and HR processes
Leverages strong understanding of implicit bias/bias mitigation concepts and/or behavioral competencies to incorporate in existing talent management solutions
Partners with the HR programs team to implement D&I strategies into performance management, career development, and employee engagement programs and processes
Partners with Learning & Development Team to ensure D&I research, scenarios and strategies are fully incorporated in training development, design and facilitation
Identifies training needs for HR to build capability (or can refine/update existing solutions) to help increase understanding and awareness of D&I topics and work experiences of diverse groups
Provides change management guidance as systems/processes are executed
Manages and executes projects and initiatives such as planning, design, development, identifying stakeholders, identifying key milestones, meeting deadlines and selecting appropriate metrics to assess outcomes
Partners with our People Analytics team to requests, gather and compile reports and analyzes trends to support success of diverse talent
Manages program manager as a direct report and provides coaching, development and career guidance
Minimum of 12 years’ experience in D&I, Talent Management and Human Resources functions
Bachelor's degree in related area or professional level HR industry certifications
Understanding of, and experience using, analytics and key workforce metrics
Experience in translating external and internal trends into innovative practices
Experience translating data and analytics to develop insights, tell stories, drive decisions and measure impact
Demonstrated experience serving as change agent in a fast moving, dynamic and results-driven organization
Demonstrated experience with coaching and influencing leaders at all levels
Experience developing positive relationships and working effectively with peers and leaders across an organization
Proven track record of facilitating company-level initiatives with multiple stakeholders
Experienced people manager with strong judgment and integrity as it relates to sensitive people matters
Clear and concise communication, presentation and facilitation skills
