The Learning & Development team at Facebook plays a critical role in ensuring our employees have the tools and learning opportunities to multiply their impact at work and continually grow themselves as individuals and leaders. To support the quick-growing demand, we are hiring a Learning Architect focused on our Executive Development. Reporting to the Head of Design & Development, this individual contributor role will support the development and integration of a new leadership framework for Facebook and manage our leadership programming for our leaders.


  • Develop innovative and agile learning strategies to support the effectiveness of our leaders globally

  • Serve as our programmatic lead for leader programs, helping set strategy, scale programs, facilitate and ensure ongoing quality

  • Build out of additional tools, content, and offerings for our leaders at Facebook, based on our leadership development strategy

  • Work effectively with the Leadership Development, Design & Development and Implementation & Optimization teams to create and deploy leadership development initiatives

  • Partner with HRBPs and Client Leads to ensure these strategies and plans are high-impact, relevant, and appropriate for all clients and regions

  • Help design systems to enable the L&D team to get out of the classroom and meet learners where they are at

  • Liaise with other stakeholders (People Analytics, IT, People Operations, Compensation) to integrate, assess, report and swiftly respond to progress and challenges related to our learning strategies

  • Support and align with Diversity & Inclusion, Recruiting, Sales, and other internal learning initiatives that have impact on our leader population

  • Liaise and manage relationships with an external network of partners providing leadership content and facilitation

  • Ensure quality, effectiveness and accountability to our FB culture, standards and processes


  • 12+ years experience in Learning and Development function

  • 10+ years Training Program Facilitation experience

  • 10+ years Organizational Design and Consulting experience

  • 10+ years experience in Instructional Design and Program Development

  • 5+ years of people management experience

  • Knowledge with the online technology industry and demands it places on HR professionals, including L&D

  • Experience in leadership development, team development, coaching and nuanced facilitation of high stakes topics

  • Track record and experience at both strategic and operational level with this industry or consulting to this industry sector

  • Experience in Technology industry or startup


  • Masters’ degree in a business or Human Resource discipline

  • Professional education and accreditation as a Human Resources professional

  • Certifications with psychological diagnostic tools and industry recognized certifications for well-established content programs
