The Specialized Technology Recruiting Team at Facebook supports specialized technical hiring across unique hardware initiatives and innovative technologies. As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will provide expert advice on effective sourcing strategies to a team of strategic and diversity sourcers, by driving innovative and creative talent strategies. You will mentor and guide sourcers in identifying non-traditional and diverse talent, using social media and other related platforms to engage candidates and executing strategy and plans focused on passively sourcing niche candidates. We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager who has built new teams from the ground up, has experience managing recruiting and/or sourcing teams in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about inclusive hiring and diversity as well as leading people with passion.
Strategic Sourcing Manager, Specialized Technology Responsibilities
Liaise with recruiting leaders to comprehend workforce plans and hiring plans in order to develop short- and long-term sourcing strategies to meet recruitment goals
Partner with Facebook hiring managers to develop a detailed profile of target candidates with data-driven advice on the range of logical possibilities
Develop and implement strategies and programs that will result in a dynamic and superior candidate experience and candidate satisfaction
Onboarding and training new sourcers who will often be geographically dispersed
Providing mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team, particularly we are seeking someone who enjoys developing IC’s
Lead by example through following, setting or sharing sourcing best practices
Ensuring sourcers are managing to milestones and metrics
Compile, analyze and capture insights from data to support business decisions
Identify trends and leverage knowledge, data and competitive intelligence to develop creative, customized sourcing strategies and in depth talent maps
Build strong cross-functional relationships with other Sourcing Leaders
Define, design and implement recruiting programs for a variety of positions including understanding and mapping the talent landscape, internal calibration and referrals, and matching those data points with the external talent supply
Monitor and manage all team activity on a continuous basis, ensuring appropriate utilization of workloads across the team
8+ years of recruiting experience
4+ years experience managing a team of sourcers and/or recruiters
Experience managing teams of 10+ direct reports and developing senior individual contributors
Experience delivering large projects, process improvements and managing through change
Experience communicating and working with cross-functional teams
Experience providing a consultative recruiting approach with internal stakeholders
