Facebook is seeking a HR Operations Manager to lead our APAC payroll and benefits operations teams. This role will also be driving initiatives from an APAC perspective partnering closely with our Benefits, Finance, global teams and key vendors. This unique role will encompass both individual contributor and manager responsibilities. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong payroll and benefits background in addition to demonstrating strong vendor management skills, highly developed people management capabilities, and savvy with operational strategy and analysis. This role will work closely with a range of key, cross functional partners to deliver an ambitious agenda in a time of growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage a growing team responsible for payroll and benefits across APAC

  • This role will also be leading on projects, reporting, data analytics, process improvement and vendor management

  • Coach, mentor and provide leadership development to team members

  • Partner with key client partner teams to create and deliver on operational strategy and annual plans

  • Prioritize and advocate on behalf of your partners additional tool enhancements in order to eliminate manual processes/work and drive efficiencies

  • Drive global process optimization and standardization while balancing the business need for flexibility

  • Establish ongoing reporting requirements to drive data-based decision making

  • Manage day-to-day operations and quarterly business reviews of both the Facebook team and our vendor teams executing our services

  • Define KPIs for measuring the success of our payroll and benefit operations and hold the team and our partners accountable for delivering on KPIs

  • Drive efficiency, customer satisfaction, and cost effectiveness of vendor support model

  • Identify new opportunities and partnerships across Facebook to further scale the operations model across APAC partnering closely with our international payroll and benefits teams

  • Make recommendations on program changes and conduct cost/benefit analysis of potential operational improvements

  • Assist in managing People Operations resourcing, capacity and budget.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of experience in HR in an international environment

  • 5+ years of People Management experience including building, leading, and evolving performing teams

  • 5+ years in the payroll and benefits area operating across countries/ regions, a high degree of technical knowledge in these areas required

  • Strategic thought leadership, stakeholder management, change management and ability to collaborate across the organization

  • Ability to effectively influence, communicate, and present at all levels of the organization

  • Ability in prioritizing and making tough choices among multiple priorities and with influencing partners to set priorities

  • Project management skills, process improvement, data skills and leading cross-functional teams to make an impact and deliver work on time

  • Analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

  • High proficiency in MS excel, power point and other tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in HR Operations or a shared service environment preferred

  • 3+ years of experience working with HR systems.
