Compensation Business Partner

Facebook is seeking an experienced Compensation Business Partner to support the Global Sales organization. This role partners closely with the sales plan design team on both an annual and ad hoc basis for all sales plan design updates and changes. The role also partners closely with regional compensation partners in support of the global business which includes both sales and non-sales roles. As part of the broader Business Partner team, provides input to designing and building innovative, competitive and analytically driven compensation offerings to support the compensation needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will be client focused and contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate an amazing and innovative Facebook culture as it scales in size.

Compensation Business Partner Responsibilities

  • Consults with business leaders and HR business partners on compensation decisions and strategy

  • Provides market analysis and insights for new and existing roles

  • Partners with the offer team and recruiting leads on hiring trends and offer escalations

  • Develops analytics for new or existing compensation programs

  • Manages job evaluations, workforce classification projects

  • Provides input to compensation planning, program administration compensation program automation projects

  • Responds to compensation-related questions from managers, HR business partners and recruiters

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Economics, Business Administration or similar field

  • 8+ years of experience in compensation analyst/consultant role

  • Partnership, influencing, communication experience and customer support

  • Experience presenting to leadership in the company

  • Experience working with HR business partners and serving clients

  • Experience with analytics, Excel, PowerPoint and HR Systems

  • Experience in one or more of the following compensation disciplines: salary and incentive plan design and administration, sales compensation, international compensation, equity compensation, executive pay

  • Experience working in performance focused environments and administering programs

  • Experience with statistical packages

  • Experience administering HR programs

  • Experience with global HR system

  • Knowledge and experience in HR strategies and practices

  • Experience working across disciplines in HR

  • Experience with employment law and practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree
